Two-Semester Course

Prerequisite: Computer Video & Animation 1-2 or teacher approval

Level: Advanced+

Students use various video authoring tools to create projects using Adobe Premiere and Aftereffects. Projects include full-screen digital video, special effects and CD quality audio for multimedia development and business communications. Solve advanced compression problems with Adobe Media encoder. 

Students will benefit from taking this course by learning advanced principles of multimedia presentations, including digital video, in a variety of real-world applications. Students will become proficient at using the computer as a multimedia tool, synthesizing information and using technology to communicate a relevant message in an appropriate media.
