Extracurricular Activities
A well-rounded student who is a lifelong learner grows and develops through extracurricular participation as well as classroom activities. The computer studies magnet program strives to provide a rich learning environment for all students by offering activities that extend beyond the classroom and core curriculum. Listed below are several extracurricular activities our students participated in this past year.
Pursue interests outside the classroom
Build a sense of community
Network with other students and potential employers
Provide encouragement and support in a safe learning environment
Field Trips
Field trips are organized throughout the school year to engage students and enable them to learn about their interests and possible career choices. This past year students toured the UAT campus, visited GCU for high school workshops, and toured the Amazon Fulfillment Center.
