This is a beginning course that introduces concepts of computer science such as coding, web development, computer art, robotics, and machine learning. Students learn how computers work and how computer technology is used in a variety of careers.

If you have a strong interest in computer science, or you have experience with computer science, or you are taking at least one honors class, you can take Computer Science Honors 1-2 as your first year course.
